Motivational Healing Quotes

What I learned from these healing quotes is that it takes time to get better.  We need God’s love and the warmth of a simple touch, which can touch our souls. We should also try to move on by living in the here and now rather than dwelling on what happened yesterday.

Healing Quotes:

Healing occurs when we are drawn into the present moment and away from the ruminations about past and future that consistently dominate our lives.” Balfour M. Mount, M.D

“The first step is to ACKNOWLEDGE the need for healing. For us to receive the healing of emotional wounds, we must first acknowledge that we are hurting.” Basil Frasure

“Jesus is the Healer of your emotional wounds, just as He clearly is the Healer of our bodies. His healing virtue is only appropriated by grace through faith, so our only “action,” when we have been wounded, is to believe -- to accept His healing grace by faith.” Kevin Nuber

“How fascinating that just touching something can have such healing powers… Whenever your hurt, try a touch—hugging a friend, stroking a foster kitty, cozying up to an animatronics seal should you find yourself near one—and see, or feel, what happens next.” Amy Shearn

“You can accept or reject the way you are treated by other people, but until you heal the wounds of your past, you will continue to bleed.  You must find the strength to open the wounds, stick your hands inside, pull out the core of the pain that is holding you in your past, the memories, and make peace with them.” Iyanla Vanzant

“No one is ever ruined for life, even though it feels helpless and impossible. The mantra needs to be: "It was not my fault." Every day is a new beginning, and it's never too late. You must believe this! Don't endow the person responsible for this with continued power over you—break away. The only one holding you back is you!” Ilene Lieberman-St. John

“True healing requires that we find a route beyond our pain so it does not control us or cause us to want to punish or control others…This type of inner work demands we defeat our reasoning minds and enlist deeper resources within ourselves, namely the power of our souls. And getting in touch with that power is without a doubt an act of grace generously given to those who ask.” Caroline Myss

  1. Focus on what you are inspired to do in order to achieve the best results. This may even mean seeing professionals to support the process of healing. Most importantly learn to take time for you through this process.
