Sometimes dealing with everyday life such as, taking care of kids, chores, and work can leave you feeling burnt out. Finding time to meditate or involve yourself in activities that you enjoy doing on your own can help you to feel more relaxed. You can even use alone time to learn something new.

When I moved out of state, away from all of my family and friends I found it very difficult to cope. I was feeling so alone. Now I use the time away from them as a way to get to know myself better. As a result, I have finally feeling a sense of purpose and independence. I also use the time alone to reflect on how I can become a better person, that way I can attract the right type of people when I do meet someone worthy of my friendship. I think about the qualities that I would want in a friend and try my best to develop those same qualities.

When feeling alone seems to be too much to handle always remember that you are never truly alone. God is always with you wherever you go. He is there to comfort you when you need it the most. Also, remember that one way he speaks to you is through his word the Bible. When you need comfort, read it and meditate on what you read. It never fails to heal.
