Inspirational Biblical Quotes

I find that these inspirational biblical quotes help me when I am feeling discouraged.  Reading these quotes and meditating on them can give you great comfort too.

Inspirational Biblical Quotes for the Discouraged

“Why am I discouraged?  Why is my heart so sad?  I will put my hope in God!  I will praise him again---my savior and my God.” Psalms 42:11(NLT)

“The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.” Psalms 121:8(NLT)

There are times when others will make a comment or do something to make you feel like you are not on the right path.  But do not get discouraged.  You have to trust that God will always be there for you.  He will guide you in the direction that you need to go.  He is rooting for you even when everyone else may not be.  Remember that you are never alone.  God is always with you.

Inspirational Biblical Quotes on Patience and Persistence

“They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.  Their lives never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”Psalms 1:3(NLT)

“His anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime!  Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with morning.” Psalms 30:5(NLT)

“I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus is calling us.” Phil. 3:14(NLT)

You may be working so hard to achieve success, whether it be to end an addiction, or straighten out your finances or even your relationship.  However, it seems to be taking forever.  This is when patience comes in.  Don’t give up.  If you stay the course you will reap a great reward.  Just give it time and trust that God will bring you success.

Inspirational Biblical Quotes on Gods Gift

“I know the plans I have for you.” says the Lord.  “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11(NLT)

“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure.  This makes it clear that our great power is from God not from ourselves.” 2 Cor. 4:7(NLT)

When I found out what my gift was I was amazed at how naturally it came to me.  I then realized that this certainly was a gift, a gift from God.

When you find out who you are, you have no choice but to be amazed and grateful for the gift or talent that God has given you.
